Bathroom Vanity Organization
Y’all, my vanity drawers were getting OOC! I had some good organizational methods in place, but the drawers were getting too crowded and not functioning well for me. They were not pretty. So, wanna see? Don’t judge.
Before…
To start, take everything out. Sort them as you are removing them into these categories:
Keep
Toss
Donate
Relocate (to a different room or space)
Then give it a good clean.
If you don’t already have some sort of drawer organizers, you should. They keep things contained and make it easier to keep your drawers organized. You don’t have to spend a lot of money. These organizers are from Walmart. They are my favorite for drawers and they are so affordable!
Now you’re ready to start putting what you’ve decided to keep back.
Group like items together. I decided I wanted my top drawer to be all skin care and skin care related items.
I separated the skin care into separate organizers based on how I use them:
Products I use both morning and evening
What I use only in the mornings
I have two evening routines, alternating days, so I put the products for each routine into separate organizers
Lip products
Products I use as needed (like masks, lip exfoliator, etc)
I use a clean washcloth each time to dry my face
All the different tools I have (jade roller, PMD, and this facial skin scrubber is amazing)
Cotton rounds
The bottom drawer houses pretty much everything else I use frequently. I still grouped like items together:
Contacts (I have a different prescription for each eye, so I made sure to keep the right and left separated), glasses, contact solution and eye drops
Self-tanning essentials (This self tanner is my favorite and so easy to use!)
Deodorant
Wet brush, comb and hair products for wet hair (I keep my other hair products in my vanity in my bedroom where I get ready. Stay tuned for an organizing post soon!)
Mouthwash and extra toothpaste
